Weekend of F-U-N

Well this weekend was a fun filled weekend with lots planned for the babies and I. Friday we just hung out at Moms house and played, watched movies, read books, had dinner with Heather, Keagan, and Mom. Keagan had some rice, potatoes, and a roll of a big boy dinner! The girls tasted some potatoes and a roll and they liked it!!! Zoey kept biting my finger when I would put it in her mouth! OUCH! Yes it hurt, only when she bit it the right way, but she did it several times! It was a nice dinner! Saturday we went and picked up Jessie P. at the oil company, and Debbie Came too, we went to John Michaels Birthday party at Leslies house, it was nice to see everyone! It was also fun to see the babies together, I had not seen baby wyn in a while!

After the Birthday Party we went to The winfrees Annual Stew Cookout. They have all their family and friends and its wonderful to see everyone! The girls were in great moods except they only really slept in the car from the birthday party to the stew cookout so I did not want cranky babies but it was hard to get them to take a nap with all the wonderful friends that they had yet to see or not in a while! They did great...

Long day, and tired babies! But it was fun!

Sunday we went to lunch eith aunite erinator and g-ma jo. We went to tropical smoothie and the girls had fun and sat in high chairs like big girls!!! They enjoyed chewing on the table and the cups. I think they got amusmant out of dropping everything on the floor so we had to pick it up every two seconds. Pictures to come!

6 and 9

A day on the baby farm..where to begin. As most of you know I watch all three monkeys on Wednesdays, Mom does Thursday and Heather does Fridays. It can be a little much but its the best thing ever. The babies get to be with family and their cousin MR. K. Plus everyone comes to my house which makes it SO much easier! Mommas out there of twins can relate! Its hard getting everything together in the A.M and rushing home to feed in the afternoon. I am one lucky gal. Well EVERYONE is so much more mobile now, exp. MR. K. There is no more just laying the babies under the play mat. It is DO NOT TAKE YOUR EYES off them for more than 1 minute! So this past wednesday I decided to document our day. We try and stick to a routine, but sometimes we get off and thats just how it is, let me give you a little glimpse of how our day goes...
630AM --Babies wake up
Change babies
Feed Babies
7AM--pump and try and get my hoots back in my shirt by 715-720 with Kevin arrives with MR. K
Play with babies on floor
8AM--all three babies in highchairs, give them all toys and I go make breakfast for them
810--Feed Z, then go lay her down for nap
820--Feed L, then go lay her down(usually does not want to go down but this time she did!)
830--Feed K, and go lay him down
By 9am all babies were asleep and slept til about 930 (well k woke up) girls slept til 11am
during this time I washed bottle, picked up toys, threw away diapers, pumped, got new clothes out for babies, entertained MR. K
10am --pump
11AM--Bottles L and Z
1130 --Play time
12---Lunch for K
1:00--pump
130--bottle for k
PLAY TIME
2:00- bottle for L and z
230 NAP TIME! clean bottles, put laundry away, clean up diapers, pick up toys, get clothes and diapers out...etc..
4:00 pump
430--change babies and get them ready for dinner
445--bottle, veggies and cereal
515--k leaves
530 ---rushed out the door when mom came in so i could go to work!!!

Exauhsting? YES! Worth it? Would not change a thing!!! Love to Love my Babies

First Tooth

Zoey got her first tooth today! Bottom right, her left. With many many more to come! Now it lillianahs turn to get a tooth!

Lions, Tigers and Bears, OMY!

We went and got pictures done of the babies in their costumes, we have a few but are waiting for the final copies!! We wanted to go with a theme so we went with LIONS, TIGERS AND BEARS. Mr. Keagan was the Tiger, KC was the Bear, and Lillianah and Zoey were the little Lions. They did pretty good with the pics! Althought they were all looking different ways! But they are still A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!

6 Month Check up!

My little ones had their 6 month check up yesterday, and they did alot better with their shots than they did at 4 months! Such innocent little faces not knowing what was coming, I hate that they have to get shots, I feel so bad for them!! I never stay in the room and this time I actually did! NO FUN, to watch! They are growing wonderfully and their above and beyond the milestones they are supposed to be hitting! They are both sitting up, grabing for toys, starting to hold their bottles(only when they want too). Zoey actually has her first tooth and is going from a laying position to sitting on her own.Their stats were:

Lillianah:
16.9 Pounds--55%
25.5 Inches long--50%

Zoey:
15.8 Pounds--50%
25 Inches long--25%

They got part of their flu shot and they have to go back in 30 days to get the other half. They are growing so healthy and doing great! The doctor told me that I am the first mother of twins in 13 years at her practice that has breastfed twins that long, it made me very happy to hear her say that!

Half Birthday!

The girls turned 6 months Old today! I cant believe it! Its crazy that 6 whole months have passed by! Its so hard to beleive how much they have grown in the past 6 months! They are now sitting on their own and I really think they both could start crawling any day now. They alreayd get up on their knees they jsut dontknow to pick their head up and start moving! Not that I am asking for it to be now, I will take my time and enjoy my little ones I do not want them to grow up to fast as I feel they have already started too! Its hard to believe they have grown this much!!!

They are on a 5 bottle schedule now and two meals of solids a day! They have started to steal each others toys! I am sure that is only the beg. of that! They loveee their movies and they sit and listen to me read them books like big girls. We found out lillianah is allergic to peaches. Lillianah def likes ger miklk better and zoey does excellent with solids accepts somtimes she like to eat ger feet, highchair, burp cloth or whatever she can get in her mouth. They are def teething and drool 24-7, they practically live in their bibs. Babaling up a storm and both laughing out loud! They love bath time! They have grown so much and are changing daily. They complete me and are my world. Love my pumpkin head and doodle bug princesses.

Beach Babies

Labor day week we went to Frisco beach right past Haterass it was about a 5 hour drive for us so I was a littl nervous as the babies  do not like their car seats very much. So we figured it would be best to leave at the but crack of  dawn. 4:45AM we were in the car. Where we drove to va dinner and met up with Heather, kevin, Keagan, David, Tracy, Jonathan, and christine.WE hd to wait for everyone to get their SURPRISINGLY we were th first ones there, ha we are never early! We finally  got back on the road around 6:45 AM. Drove for a while then 830AM, Zoey is awake, and hungary, Lillianah was still sleeping so we stopped to feed the babies the beasleys stopped with us to feed Keagan. At this point we had about 2 hours left so I did not want to wake Lillianah so we just fed K and Z. Got back in the car and headed on. we knw this was going to b the rough part bc K and Z were aawake and after MR hurricane earl they had just opened the island back  up that morning at 7 am so you can imagine the one and only highway 12 getting onto all the beaches was packed! It was moving about as slow as, um lets just say I think I saw about 50 turtles pass us! Z was getting a lil fussy and then L woke up!!! Ah It was a long 2 hours! THen we finally got there but our hosue was not ready yet so we could not go in, so we ate lunch, fed the babies in the car, drove around, went out on the ebach for a few and then finally got in!!!! Unpack and got settled. One house 10 adults and 4 babies!! WOW

We set up the tents and took the pack and plays out on the beach, the babies did alot better than I thought they were going to do out on the beach. We kept them in the shade with their toys adn they were content. Atleast we got to drive on the beach bc I could not imagine if we had to walk ouut on the beach, taking everything that we had to take out there!! It was also nice because we got to sit in the car when it was feeding time, I could pump and the babies could cool off and eat.

SOme days were better than others.We had are ups and downs but for the most part it was great. One day we took the ferry over to Oakracoke Island that is when Miss Erin came and stayed with us. It was so wonderful to see her, as it had been a while. But now we havve th joys of erin all the time since she has moved back to good ol' c-field where she will embark on a new journey! On the way over we stayed in the car, and then we went to Howards pub and ate lunch! Then we went out on the beach, it was a long day for the babies but I think they enjoyed them selves as much as we did!

I tell you its a different kind of beach vacation. My relaxing doesnt start til 830pm after the babies go to bed! :) hehe, but its all worth it and I am not complaining one bit!We stayed in and cooked every night accept one night we went out and got seafood and the babies slept the entire time!!! Our nights consisted of shhh the boys, playing charades, cards, talking, relaxing, the boys playing tricks on each other,(yes pranks like they were 12)! all while we were makign sure we were quiet enough that we did not wake the 4 sleeping babies!!

I would say it was a successful beach vacay with two 5.5 month olds! I was very happy that we went!!! On the way back the babies did great! We left at bedtime adn they slpet the entire way home!! Although upon returning home we had two sick little babies that are sitll recovering. Keagan and Kylie got sick also. Everyone came home and went to the doctor! SHows how easy germs do spread. Girls had double ear infections adna  viral infection and horrid high fevers. Keagan had a viral infection and Kylie had coup. NO fun! Girls noses are still a lil runny and they are still congested but are acting like they feel alot better.

FiVe MoNtHs

M girls are FIVE months today, wow time flies. FIVE things I love to love about my babies!

1. No matter how bad of a day I am having they always bring a smile to my face.

2. When their little hands reach up and touch my face, makes my heart melt.

3. When they hear my voice when I get home from work and they turn and look for me with a big grin ear to ear.

4. Watching them accomplish new tasks and skills on a daily basis!

5. When they first wake up in  the morning, going in and seeing those happy happy faces smile at me, goood morning!
