Play date

Oh how I love play dates! My friend Lindsay from college came over today! Who I have not seen in a very long time, it was very good to see her! Well she has a little girl exactly one month older than the girls, we had been saying forever that we were going to get the babies together well today we finally did! They came over on baby farm say! So it was 4 little ones here! Our day consisted of sitting in the floor, eating cheerios, taking pictures, talking about what our babies were doing, milestones, and catching up! It was fun. Mommy look at ME!

I feel as though everyday we are hitting new milestones and getting better at our daily routine! Zoey and Lillianah can both officially bend down and pick up a toy off the ground while they are standing up, granted they are holding on to the couch or a tall toy while doing it but still that is a great accomplishment! They are both standing alone not holding on to anything for momments at a time! Every time they do it, they stand for longer periods each time! I love it! I love to see their faces when they do!

Tis the Season

Well it has been very hectic around here! But I better get used to that as hectic is my middle name. But I enjoy every second of it! Well Christmas has always been my favorite holiday! This year it was even better, with having little babies! Even though it was just another day to them I was still so EXCITED for them on their first Christmas!! I did what my mom always did for us, I sat out all their toys! (Then of course santa came and added to their piles! They each had their own stocking in their own chair that we got them! First thing we do every morning is change diapers, and eat, well this morning they jsut wanted to play! Here are some pics to share with you! Christmas Eve I had Lonnies Parents, Lonnies G-ma over and Sara and Patrick and Erin, and the girls cousin Hayden who is only 2 months younger! Always fun to get the babies together. We enjoyed a few pick me up foods and opened presesnts and took lots of pictures! Christmas eve night we headed to dinner at brio with my nanny and papa and all of our family! The babies did great and of course enjyoed a nice Grilled chz with french fries for dinner! They all acted well behaved in the restaurant! People sitting nex to us thought that they were triplets! THe girls and keagan that is!! SO many people think that (we are together all the time) I said I was going to start telling people that they are!! hehe! We had a wonderful dinner then went back to nan and papa's and opened presesnts and enjoyed some good deserts and cider! Christmas morning we opened presents here wit hthe girls and then headed over to ma mere's house and opened mor presents! Where the girls got spoiled with more toys than you can imagine!!! We had a wonderful lunch and My aunt uncle and cousins came over to enjoy it with us! My papa got sick and could not come! That was no good! But atleast we got to spend christmas eve with him and my nan! We spent all day at m moms then went by Lonnies Aunt Shirle's house! Where we got to see more of the girls cousins!! :) It was a wonderufl christmas!! Cant wait til next year!!

Dumping

The girls are now 8.5 months, I can not believe how fast it is going by, TOO fast. They are doing well, we have had a about 4 weeks in a row of being sick between ear infections and the flu that ran its course through our house and all of our famillies. But they seem to be doing better! They had their first snow this past Thursday, and mommy got to get off work and come home and spend the day with them! It was very nice! They are growing so much! We took them to the doctor this past monday: Lillianah weighs 18.6 and Zoey weighs 17.5. They are growing well!
We had a small set back last weekend. As most of you know, I strictly breastfeed and my babies have never had formula. Well last weekend was a little rough for me, I had a cycst on my chest. I have had it forever, never bothered me or anything. Last week it started hurting and getting fluid build up, so I went to my PCP, she sent me home with a z-pack and told me to do warm compresses. Z-Pack really? I mean Z-Pack is not going to kill an infection in my body of that nature or that bad, but I am BF so she could not put me on the meds that she wanted too.
Well Friday I woke up in awful pain, I called my mom I could not even bend over to pick up the girls with out it hurting. So I went to moms PA at her ORTHO office and she opened and drained it for me, well the second she drained it (and 4 times more bacteria and fluid came out than the PA said she thought would have came out) the second it started coming out it smelled exactly the same way the girls poop had been smelling and they have had diarreach for like a month! We called my pediatrician, it turned out the bacteria and infection was getting in my milk ducts and getting to the babies:( I was told to stop BF because of the bacteria and cellulitus, and because of the antibiotic  they were going to put me on to kill the infection. Sent me home on pain killers and an antibiotic called Cepro, Took the Cepro, about 20 min. later I was freezing cold, uncontrollably shaking, lost it, it was awful. Ambulance came took me to JW(Side note: never GO TO THAT HOSPITAL, well I should not say never, I just had an AWFUL experience) ER admitted me bc they could not get my heart rate down. Next morning it came down. They wanted to keep me too monitor me on another antibiotic. So basically I was in the hospital, first time I EVER stayed the night away from the babies. First time they ever had formula (and I did not want them to have ANY! MY BF goal was one years old) And the docs could not figure out waht meds to putme on! It was a rough weekend, gave me another medication I had another allergic reaction. Wanted to keep me again to try another medication in the morning, but I checked my self out of the hospital. Did not go into detail but the doctor pretty much SUCKED! So I followed up with my PCP, reffered me to the Cancer Institute, (Breast Specialist) She cut the cyst out drained the bacteria some more and put a wick in. So long story I get to start BF again on Sunday. You know how frsutrating it has been to pump and dump it down the drain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! Awful! So we had a minor set back and that included one week out of a year for my babies to have formula not waht I wanted but we made it though and they will get my BM back in one day! YEA!

Mommy went out with her Fame Staff for a Christmas Party! It was a blast! I think I can count on one hand the times that I have gone out since the girls were born! Much needed and very much deserved, loved every minute and enjoyed good company!!! Check it out!

Zoey the Climber and Lillianah the Crawler

We have officially hit two more milestones!!! Zoey is pulling up on everything I mean everything she has been for a couple weeks but it seems like everyday she is doing it more and more! Well now she pulls up and lets go and stands alone!!! SHe only stands for about 30 seconds b4 she topples over and then gets back up to do it again!!!

Lillianah is officially crawling!! (She is pulling up too) BUt this is her newest milestone! She would crawl a little but now she is officailly crawling and getting the hang of it! Yay!

We have been practicing self feeding with them with their puffs and it only took a week! They have both mastered it!!! Lillianah likes to shove like 10 of them in her mouth So I have to watch her closely!!!!

This week well actually this past saturday we just started 4 bottles and 3 meals a day! My little babies are growing up so fast! I am ready for you to slow down! We were doing 5 bottles and 2 meals.

The 4 bottle schedule is going pretty well. THey just HAVE TO eat the 4 bottles, bc its only 28 oz a day I am offering them so they really need all of it! We have trouble finishing bottles sometimes and since I added an ounce to all of them since we droped a bottle its even more for them to finish! But they are doing good so far! I am a little nervous as I am going to work tom. and I am still playing with their schedule so I hope they stick to it tom.!! SO mommy does not stress!!

They are sittin in high chairs at restuarants now and being big girls!! THey are doign so good with it!! I guess maybe they could have done it earlier but I just tried!

Mommy is happy at this age you are currently at and is very content, you both are very happy wonderful babies and I would like for you to push slow mow on growing up!! Mommy loves you. Thank you,

So for our halloween photo shoot that I HAD posted a lil while ago, the girls were lions, for our lions, tigers and bears theme! But for Halloween they were ZEBRAS!!! They were So cute all dressed up!!! We took a picture with our first eer trick or treaters, all the girls wanted to do was stare at them!! And their daddy carved pumpkins out with their names in it! THat takes tallent, I would not be able to do something like that! Well I prolly could, but not look as good! The girls were crawling around in their little zebra outfits!! We aso took them to the pumpkin patch and let them pick out their own little pumpkin!! Here are some photos for your enjoyment!
