Crazy Monsters Everywhere!

Its official my girls are walkers! They have been taking steps since 8 months, but this last week they have been walking like crazy! Dont get me wrong they still fall, ALOT! But walking everywhere!!! Oh I love them SO much! They are a mess and into EVERY single thing! They like to eat the toilet paper, and go fishing in the toilet, gross? Yes, but they have no clue! They like to eat food off the floor and they climb up my leg and wine when they want to be held. They are strong little monkeys, they can pull their selfs up onto things like climb to the top of the couch and hold all their weight up like its nothing! I am not kidding, I think if I taught them they would be able to do a pull up! They are happy fierce little divas that I absolutley ADORE!

Thier a little picky when it comes to eating, but that's ok I am too. Our current menu of food that they eat consisits of..

Wow actually now that I type it out, they do eat several different things, but thats about it, they are not big on triyng  new things! But that list contains pretty much waht we eat on a regular!

We are at 3 bottles a day and I need to drop to 2, little nervous about it, as I was nervous about dropping from 6 to 5, 5 to 4, and 4 to 3, it all went well, so I freaked for weeks for no reason, as I am sure this one will go well too! BUt this one is different, it is a big deal I think, because that means my babies will only get bottles in the morning when they wake up and at night when they go to sleep! O MY goodness! Ah, they are growing up tooo fast! Did I mention one month from tommorow they are going to be ONE! C-R-A-Z-Y! OK. I am going to go cry tears of joy now, one year olds, really? I am goign to be a mommy of two one years olds!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH! OH, babies Slow down!

Two little cheerleaders and half a stunt group! Oh how I can not wait til my girls can start FAME! Today Caroline and Lillian came over and we had stunt class, Lillian is a little girl that I used to babysit who also I have coached for many years, she is also where I started liking the name Lilli! Caroline is our little friend across the street!

Today we went to the PARK, this is only the second time the girls have been to a park. BUt we did not go to a  Swing Slide this time. This park did not have a swing nor a slide but it had baby animals and lots and lots of places to explore and walk around. The girls were wonderful! They usaully do not like to sit in their strollers very long but they did today and did great! We have lots of good friends and other baby playmates, Auntie E, G-ma JO, Auntie H, Mr. K, Leslie, Wyn Man, and Amber Rose. It was a wonderful time, Oh and tuna was there in spirit.
We packed a picnic lumch, ya know like in a basket? Although we didnt have a basket. We had a plastic bag and  a cooler. Our lunch was sandwiches, fruit, chips and goldfish. Don't you just love goldfish? I do? The girls do, they love goldfish, infact have you ever had a godfish lunch?> Well they did today because they did not want to sit still they wanted to explore all over the food blanket and dump everything everywhere. So today they had a goldfish lunch and it was not the first nor will it be the last.
I attempted to run up this very steep hill with two 20 pound babies, a 35 pound stroller, two coolers, blankets, diaper bag, oh and my out of shape self, I got about half way up and wanted to cut my legs of, they were numb! HA.
We went and looked at all the animals and the girls enjoyed looking around and seeing all the different animals that were there!! This will def. ba trip that we take again! Looking forward to it, but next time it will be a McD drive thru kids meals, right LJ?

Train with Poppy!

Tonight we went to Grand Mere and Poppy's for dinner! We had a great dinner then we played on the train that they pushed up and down the kitchen. Mere pushed for a bit but then she got cut off when she crashed the babies into the island! haha! Here are some pics! Enjoy!

We just do. I do not know any other way, therefor this is my life and this is what I think of how rasing a
baby(ies) is supposed to go!

I do not even remember what I used to do with my time, bc they are my life now, Babies, work, clean, thats what I do on a daily and I would not change a thing. They are my everything, and It gets easier everyday, did I SAY easy?. No, but I did say E-A-S-I-E-R.

You know what I hate? Well Hate is a harsh word, but I NEVER thought about how much I would get stoped with twins! Every now and then is ok, and i exp. dont mind the ones that just want to say aww how cute, and move on...or just are polite, but thats one in every 10, that ask me a normal question. Sometimes I cant get into the store and in a cart and to the first isle with out being stoped for about 10 minutes by 5 different people. Simple questions and polite questions go for it, but some people in this world, I just dont know about!
Here let me set up a conversation for you. And my response, is what I WANT to say, I do not say it, but gosh gee catch me on the wrong day and I just might!

Background Information: Me trying to get shopping done with two babies who hate: to sit in car seats, strollers, and carts,(well getting better about being in the cart) but always end up out)

Lady in the store: Twins?
Me: Clearly

Lady in the store: Im sorry or congrats, which do I say?
Me: ------- I will refrain from waht I want to say.

Lady in the store: Oh,, how cute, are they twins?
Me: No they are just dressed alike.

Little old annoying lady in the store: Oh, how cute are they twins?
Me: NO, I just got inpregnanted within one week of each other.

Little old annoying hag in the store: Oh how cute twins, let me guess boy and girl?
Me: Yes, I decided to dress them alike in all pink outfits with bows in their hair, exp. the boy!

Lilttle old annoying big hag lady in the store:  Oh twins, I know what that is like I have two boys who are two years apart, Its the same thing as raising twins!
ME: HA, Yea you change two dirty diapers at the same time, feed tWO swining monkeys that dont want their food at the same time, put two babies mouth up to your breast at the same time, hold two bottles at the same time, givie birth to two babies at the same time, then come talk to me!

Two little Old ladies: (Me with Tracy my brothers girl friend who is two years younger than me pushing the girls in stroller out of the mall)
Oh they are so cute are they twins? You must be their grandma,(talking to tracy) ba ha ha she is only 23! And I am 25!
Oh I dont think I need to tell you what we wanted to respond to that one!

Little lady in the store: Wow you have your hands full!
Me: I would not change a thing!( i do say this)

Little lady: Damn did you take fertility drugs?
Me: No it was just a random coiencedence!

Lady in the Store: What were you on to get pregnant with twins?
Me: Ill leave that blank too.

Lady: How do you tell them apart.
Me: THey dont look alike to me
Lady: But how, why dont they look alike to you.
Me. UM, their my kids and I see them everyday?
Lady: but how...
Me..can i get my shopping done now!

DOnt get me wrong I love showing off my kids!! BUt come on now these strangers and their questions!!!!!!!!!! I think only Moms of Multiples can relate to this post! Oh I love my twin stuff moms!

Dear Lillianah & Zoey,

I can listen to you laugh all day long,

I love to hold your tiny hands,

I love to watch your facial expressions as you learn something new,

I love to watch you wave bye bye over and over again even when no one is coming and going,

I love your silly faces that you make,

I love your serious concentration when I put on your Favorite Nursery Rhymes DVD,

I love to watch your take a few steps on your own, then fall to your bottom and realize crawling is a faster way of getting around,

I can listen to the babaling and try to figure out what you are trying to say or what you mean over and over again, I even make up funny little words that I think you mean when you are pointing, gruting, or speaking your language, like super cala fragalistic expialidoshus, even though those words are no where near your vocabulary yet,

I love when you are so sleepy that you just want to lay in my arms,

I love the way yall touch (or should I say grab) my face,

I don't love the way you like to pull my hair,

I love the way you experience new foods but smushing them in your hand or throwing them on the floor,

I love to stand in your room at night and watch you peacefully sleep,

I love that I still check on you like 10 million times a night to make sure you have not learned to crawl out of your crib yet,

I love to watch you interact with each other, as best friends do,

I love how big you both think you are, trying new things like, climbing the stairs by your self, trying to get out of your car seat, trying to climb on the couch, or out of my bed! (or should I love these thigns) maybe a little scare!

I love that you explore EVERYTHING!

I love how when we go out you both stare at people like a little old lady being nosey,

I love to read yall books,

I love to watch your little knees bounce up and down as you hear music,

I love to hear the words mama, even though you may not associate it with me yet,

I love to love you, oh babies slow down!

Now As for I PROMISE...

I promise to remember that babies are only toddlers for a little while, and to say "no" less and simply distract you more.

I promise whenever you are cranky and in a funk I will try to imagine what it's like in your little world at that moment. I will remember that you've only been here a few hundred days, and it's perfectly reasonable to be awfully, awfully upset that wonderful tasting pennies, crayons, or dirt are continually snatched away.

I promise at least once a day to get down on the floor and be a total idiot with you.

I promise to celebrate your voice and let you hoot like a monkey, shriek like a banshee and be a happy goofball like the rest of us. I'll make sure to happily distract you with quiet fun if we're not someplace that would appreciate the wounded coyote song, but I'll make sure to do it in such a fun way that you really won't mind.

I promise to talk to you a lot, to point out everything in our world and remember how new and exciting it all is. I promise we will read , but ones just for you too.

 

I promise to teach you how to be the kind of child and person who people will love to be around. I will have high standards for you, but never too high to attain.

I promise to teach you how to find your own happiness so you never need more men, money, or friends to find joy in life.

I promise to be honest with you. I won't sugar-coat the world but I will also always let you know that you have a lot of people who treasure you and they will always help keep you safe. I promise not to forget, when you're old enough, to teach you how to stay safe -- even though I don't want to admit you could ever need it.

I promise to always put a little magic in your life.

 

I promise that sometimes I'll love you so much it makes me cry, and that no matter how old you are I will still sneak looks at you while you're sleeping, playing and living life. I promise that there will always be people who love you so much it's amazing, and we will be there for you no matter what.

 

I promise that even if you don't want it, I'm going to hound you and your sister and make you value each other. You two are the greatest gift I've given you two outside of life and love.

 

I promise to never stop reading parenting magazines and books, talking to mothers, and listening to my heart so that I grow as a mother.

 

I promise to realize that you have to make your own mistakes sometimes and it's not my job to protect you so much that you never experience life. I'll do my best to give you room to fall off the jungle gym, date a guy with blue hair or take a year off college. If your daddy has to superglue my lips together, I swear I'll hush and be supportive!

We have many Firsts, in the First year of the girls life and we had a new First today, VALENTINES DAY! I spent it at work and they spent the day with their Grammy. BUT after work we had a wonderful dinner with good friends and good food! Auntie E, Lennox (2.5), Kathy, Gabe,( 10 months), the girls, lonnie and I went to mexico! It was very good and a little crazy as we had 4 high chairs at one table! BUt it was fun, and we had a wonderful time! I think Erin got some birth control tonight! ba ha! Thanks for the wonderful dinner kathy, you rock! :)

Swing Slide

Our first time at the park and we loved it! I can tell where we will be spending our spring and summer weekends!!! Bring on the warm weather!
