31 week and 2 days check up @ perinatal Doc

Alright so I was so anxious to go to the doctor this past friday because we have not had a growth ultra sound in almost 4 weeks(in which they weigh the girls). I was also anxious,nervous, excited to hear about lil miss zoey and how she was doing with her fluid levels!! They develop more and more everytime I see them!

Zoey Grace 3 Pounds 11 oz.

Lillianah Rae 3 pounds 15 oz.

They are both so close to 4 pounds! YAY, we are ALL growing wonderfully, even me! ha Zoey's fluid levels were still the same that they were at so they are still a lil on the high side! BUt since they are both growing at god rates and lillianahs fluid is averge it is ok! Hoping my little ones stay in there MUCH longer and continue to grow! I also went to see my doctor this week in which the outcome of that visit is me cutting back on work. So I have stopped the gym for now and I am going to work my full time job 4 days a week! For any one that knows me you know I am ALWAYS on the go! I have had two jobs since I could being working at age 15, so this will be a big adjustment! I HATE sitting still! But I know that it is to help my lil ones and keep them growing on the insde and not the outside yet. So I will just have to deal. I am very sad about not going to the gym, those kids are my LIFE and have been since I have coached many of them for the past 8 years and watched them grow up in cheerleading and in life, and better their skills at the gym! I hope to return as soon as possible!!

It is getting closer and closer everyday, I am now 31 weeks and 3 days! Trying to get the house prepared and everything set up so i dont have to worry about anything later on!

Farmer Shower!

Alright well last but not least was my FARMER baby shower! Jessie, Leslie and Debbie threw for me! It was just lovely, we had it at Debbies house. Their was lots of wonderful food and happy faces I got to see! Robin made a DELICIOUS cake, well actually two cakes, I had a piece of them both (shh..)Got to do it while I can because once these babies are out its going to be hard core healthy eating to get back to my original shape:)

The house was decorated so nice with close lines of baby clothes and lots of diaper cakes and tons of wonderful food! Jessie P. made us a diaper cake and I was very impressed with her lovely talents --she did such a good job! :) hehe. Leslie also made a beautiful diaper cake that was the center of all the food on the table.

I got tons and tons and tons of wonderful gifts!! I could not have asked for anything more! Everyone was so KIND and great to give us wondeful things to start our lil ones life! We got all SORTS of stuff...

and much, much more, as you can imagine! THose were just a FEW:) It was a perfect day and a wonderful shower and I could not have asked for anything more! Thank you to everyone who came and showered us with presents for our new little babies to arrive!!!

Baby Einstein and Mumble

Mom brought Keagan over tonight while Heather went grocery shopping and Dinner with Beasewax. Keagan is getting SO good with his eye contact, but you have to put it directly infront of him or he gets easily distracted by the fan on the celling or something else in the room. So hard he has it, some one to feed him, rock him, bath him, hold him when he cries, life is just grand, dont you want to be a baby sometimes! JK! Well the past couple times Keagan has come over he likes his new little friend that dances and sings to the sound of your voice or music in the back ground! He is just too adorable and I love him! Want to meet him?!

After we played with mumble we sat down and watched Baby Einstein, this was the first time I tried to get him to see if he would be interested in the computer! Interested is not the right word, he absolutley loved it! He sat up with his passie just like a big boy and wathced baby einstein for about 15 minutes! I think he secretly loved it!

After this we took an adventure to try out Lillianah and Zoeysnew swing. We liked this for a bit with all the msical sounds and then we went to their room and played in their bouncy seat! He is just testing out all of their toys to make sure they are 'safe' for them :) Being the great big cousin he will be!

I think he likes Monkeys just as much as I do. I got a couple coos out of him on ths adventure.

Dear Mommmy,

Peace, Showers, and love

This past weekend was a weekend full of excitement! It started off on friday afternoon when my Little nephew and my sister came over to the house. Everytime I see him he changes! I feel like he changes a lot and I see him twice a week. Even he starts to develop more and more of a personality and his little eye contact is amazing. I have Mumble from happy feet, everyone must know who this little character is, he is great and makes me laugh histerically still til this day and I am 24 years old. Any who my lil penguin friend talks and Taps his little feet to the sound of your voice. Well I put Keagan eye level with mummble and I think that keagn really like him, he was engaged in his voice and tap dancing skills. Then we tried for a photo sesh where I got the cutest pictures, peace dude!

Anywas we spent a nice afternoon of giggles and window shopping at Babies R us. Which I think is my new favorite store!

Then that night we went to the country club for lonnies moms birthday. We had a nice dinner and desert and listend to some Karaoke. I was anxiousl awaiting my packages from DC and Baltimore to get here. We got home about 10:00 and my pregnant self tried to keep my little tired eyes open! I made it til about 11 and then fell asleep, my phone buzzed around 11:45 and I jumped up faster than I have in a long time with this pregnant belly of mine, I think I was excited. But it was just a text to say that my packages took a wrong turn and they should arrive around 12:47. So I decided it was time to get up. I went downstairs as Lonnie snored loudly and ate something to wake me up! Then my 4 packages arrived. Nellie, Meggles, Sarah, and Sioby Cat.

We procedded to stay up and play catch up because I had not seen them since their last little adventure down to Richmond. We got all the beds ready and went to sleep anxioulsy awaiting tessa and staceys arrival in the morning!

We got up the next morning and Siobhan and Sarah went to pick up tessa from the airport while megs, nellbell and I went to the grocery store to get stuff to make breakfast! Well little did we know we sent the wrong two people to pick up Tessa.

Saturday Morning:

1. Siobs and SEK left to pick up Tess which is 20 mins away

2. we left about 20 mins after them.

3. went to foodlion got breafast stuff

4. came back chatted a little

5. Then started cooking b-fast

6. Tried to slow it down.

7. Calld the girls said they would be here soon

8. called again 15 mins later no answer- so we ate without them

Meet Stacemaster FLEX..

(Side Note: Stacemaster is 23 weeks along with a little surprise, she is not finding out what she is having!!)

Come to find out sarah had to have star bucks and they got lost and did not call anyone to ask for directions! ha:) Oh i love my sarah. they went to the star bucks on midlothian when they could have gone to the one right down the street from my house! Well they got back and we were nice enough to save them some yougurt parfaits, eggs bacon, sasuage, and cinnimon rolls but not the middle one that was meggles!Finally they arrived with our sweet Tessa, whom I had not seen since January of oh9!

Meet Tess Cat..

We all got ready and went to my Baby shower! My mom, sister Heather and Aunt Tammy threw for me! I was nervous, not sure why, but I think its because I didnt really like to be put on the spot and that day was all about me! Well we walk in fashionably 10 mins late and as soon as I walk in i see Amanda! who I mind you I have not seen in 3 years and 9 months, I hugged her and then we both started crying like we were babies! I couldnt help it, the emotions were flying! Why I love Amanda...and let me introduce her to you for those of you who do not know her...

Ok so I think picture number one explains it all but let me go into a little more detail.

1. She wears her sunglasses at night.

2. SHe is never a negaive nancy always a positive polly.

3. She always says whats on her mind and does not care what you think.

Then I proceeded to greet everyone else that came to my shower! I was so happy all those people came for me!:) Made me feel VERY special! We all socialized for a while and then ate some wonderful food, and then the fun part of opening gifts came! Lil miss riley boo sat right infront the whole time, was ADORABLE! I got so many adorable things--Little girls clothes could not be any more adorable, I think I'm obssesed and they are going to have more clothes than I DO. I loved loved all my gifts but one of my favorites was what Kristina made me(one of my good friends since 2nd grade)

I dont think these ribbon holders could be any more adorbale, isnt che crafty!!?!?

Anyways the shower turned out excellent, Once I get the pics that holly took I will post them! My sister had a clothes line of all these cute little clothes and two MONKEY outfits on them!  Overall it could not have gone any better, minus the sweating and swelling of my feet! :) ha! Glad everyone I care about got to make it to my special day! I have my Farmer side shower this weekend and I cant wait. Yes that is my third shower, ha!:) Hey I am having TWINS!:)

Doctors and Classes!

It has been a crazy busy past few days so I have gotten a little behind in my blog! We went back to the high risk doctor this past Friday 2/12 for a check up on the fluid for little miss Zoey. Her fluid has gone down some but it is still a little on the high side, so we are still going to go back ever two weeks for check ups on her:) Lillianah's is in the average range so she is doing well. Atleast hers is not too low or too high as well. So they are thinking it might be just too much fluid on little miss zoey and hoping nothing else, or leading to nothing else!Pray for happy healthy babies, we are! I go see my regular OB tommorow for my check up and I will be 30 weeks! I cant believe it!! SO crazy! My next mile maker is 35 weeks. Once the girls hit 35 weeks that means no NICU time unless for other reasons. BUT not preemie reasons! So we can do it! I would love to make it full term to 37 but if not I will take 35!
Last night we went to our Expecting Multiples Class this was a very interesting class - there were 5 other couples in this class. One of which is a surrogate for twins!! AHH-- that is one brave women to be going through a pregnancy of mulitples to be giving to another women! I give her mad props! Two of the couples were in their first tri-mester, one of which is having faternal twins. The other of which is having faternal twins and IS not finding out the sex of the baby! I was impressed, thats alot of stuff to buy to not find out for TWO. The other lady is having boy girl faternal twins and was 33 weeks. She made me feel better about my belly! SHe was ALL belly as well but was bigger than me! :) I found a pregnant person with a bigger belly than I have YAY! :) But I am sure another 3 weeks and I will be right up there with her!
Anyhow we learned alot about different things...we were supposed to take this class early on in pregnancy so some of the information we already knew but we learned new stuff as well! Did you know that they tell women who are pregnant with multiples to drink 100 oz of water a day and consume about 3,500 calories! That is crazy.  I have been getting tickled with myslef when I drink the 64oz that I thought I was supposed to be drinking! Now I need to drink even more!! Theyalso said that a women who is craying twins is less likely to go into preterm labor if they gain 25lbs by the 24 week mark! I def. did not exceed this task but I have surpassed it at this point.
We were the only ones in the class having Identicals and she was talking to us about not getting them mixed up(well really to lonnie) SHe suggested we keep their hospital bands on for the first couple weeks when we take them home. I told her that lonnie said he was going to put an X in permanant marker on the bottom of one of the girls foot! I told her I was NOT allowing him to do this, I was going to paint one of the girls toe nails. She agreed that was a good idea!:)

Doctor appts and Reality

Wednesday we had our 28 week check up with my OB Doctor. It went good, she heard the heatbeats, measured my GROWING belly, blood pressure and weight. Oh I think getting on the scale is my favorite part, NOT! She discussed everything with me that I already went over with my High risk doctor and about how my appointment went early in the week with the girls. We also discussed having the babiess!! I asked her about c-sections and vaginal delievers with twins and how far along normally are twins when they are born.

Her Response:

They are usually tickled when their patients of twins get to 34 weeks. Full term for twins is 37 weeks. Anytime after 35 weeks they will not stop delivery if I go into labor. As of now the girls are both head down, so vaginally delivery so far, YEA! She will not let me go past 37 weeks! So as long as we have no complications and keep going down the road we are going then our girls could make their debute anytime between March 17th and April 7th! The longer the better!

I dont know if it reality has kicked in to me yet- you would think everday seeing my belly and feeling the girls move It would feel real to me. But it doesnt yet! I mean I know I am going to have these two beautiful babies but the word "mommy" just does not feel real yet. I am sure it will the second I give birth too these two bundles of JOY. There is so much to learn but from what I understand and everyone tells me that "it will come natural" TWINS! Who would have thought I still get excited about it!

This is my belly at 27 weeks and 5 days! One of my favorite lil cheerleaders who I have coached since she was 5!  Getting all grown up now!

Perinatal Check up 28 weeks!

So we went to the perinatal doctor today for our 28 week check up! The girls are growing wonderfully and are close in size which is a great thing! Everything looked good except zoey has a little more fluid than normal around her, so they want to see me back in two weeks just to check to see if it has gone down to where it needs to be. Extra fluid can come from a number of things, not exactly sure where mine is coming from! But lets hope when we go back in 2 weeks the fluid will be back to normal and where it needs to be! Pray for TWO healthy babies!!! Alright so I know everyone wants to know and see these lil precious gems here they are....

Debbie got to come with us for the first time today so I think she was very happy to get to see her frist grand daughters on the screen!! It was a good visit overall and we will be going to visit my OB doctor on Wednesday for me to get checked out and measured!!
