35 week Mile Marker!

Being on bed rest has its ups and downs, I guess I need to update on why I am on bed rest first! Well I have pre-clampsia, so I am aloud up to pee and shower and thats it, I am going on day #10 of bed rest. The only way to cure pre-e is to deliever the babies, but my doctor wants them to bake until 37 weeks so we are trying to contain my BP, and swelling with strict bed rest. Thankfully my pre -e is not severe otherwise they would have to deliver my little ones asap.
Anyhow, so my days consist of watching TV and playing on the computer. I could go off on a tangent right now about how I really feel about being pregnant at this point but I am not going to suffer you reading through that, plus I am happy to know that my little ones have made it this far without coming out, so I will spare you on that one. But just a small dose of it, I can no longer bend over and pick up things, going up and down the stairs I get out of breath, I am not really aloud to get up accept to pee and shower and thats pretty much impossible! I have puppps,which is a  pregnancy rash on my belly so it itches ALOT!(it is common with multiples)  Alright, see I said I was not going to go into detail and I started to, I AM STOPPPING NOW.
However, being on bed rest you get lots of visitors and that makes my heart happy! I have had lots of visitors here lately lets see where to being, last week Amy came over and brought me lunch and these wondrful, wall decors to hang in the nursery and play room that she got at her trade show, which in return made me finish the play room, well made lonnie finish the play room I sat on the floor and told him where to put stuff! Mom had painted the walls, one wall which is purple is my favorite!!!

My mom coms over on a regular and helps me keep the house tidy, I cant do stuff so since she likes to clean so much she comes over and gets right to work everytimee! Now only if i could hire her when I am not pregnant to do some cleaning!:) SHe has done SO much and helped us out A TON, I dont know what I would do without her, painting skills, cleaning skills, cooking skills, or rushing me to the hospital skills(well i think i could do without her driving skills onthat one because she is not very good on that note, because she tries to text and drive and that doesnt work for her very well). haha--

One of the best things about being on bed rest if my sister and keagan come over daily, everday I get to see the two of them I think she is keeping me sane by coming over. I am not one that likes to sit still at ALL!!

Patrick and Sara came over and patrick cooked us 4 dinner--that was very nice- I got to sit here on the couch catch up with sara while the boys cooked- I think I could everday!

Debbie and Lonnie G-ma came over and had lunch with us, and she mad me a cheesecake that was wonderful!! :)

Meredith, John, little miss riley, and Amber came and had dinner with us this week!

One special little visitor that I got today was Leslie and Wyn. YAY, Leslie brought some lunch over and we played catch up about her delivery and chatted for a bit! It was very nice and I got to hold wyn, he could not be more cute! I stole a precious little picture!!!

So bed rest def. has its ups and downs! But we are getting so close to getting to hold our little ones in our arms and I could not be more excited!

Packing and Getting ready!

Last night lonnie and I decided to pack our hospital bags. Well he packed them and I just layed there and told him what to put in them since I am supposed to stay laying down. I never know really what to put in them but I want to have it ready so Lonnie is not trying to pack it on his own if I were to need to go to the hospital unexpectedly. Plus all my daily stuff that I use, I still need to keep out so it was alittle difficult, plus I wanted to take EVERYTHING, ha too much stuff. Well we finally got it done last night and the babies bags packed as well. We also made a list of things for lonnie to do today to get us all prepared for the babies, like putting bases in his car, setting up btl warmer and drying rack and all that, putting batteries in everything, washing the last bit of baby clothes and blankets, and much more! Its getting real now, it is getting closer and closer, before we know it the little ones will have arrived, but lets just pray when I go to the doctor tom. she will tell me that I can keep them in me til atleast 37 weeks which is only 2.5 weeks away, ahh!! Hoping she is not going to tell me she has to take the lil ones yet because of my pre-e! we will see my results are in and my apt is tommorow!

Sweet Baby

Now that I am officially on Strict bed rest, heather and keagn come visit me regularly, and I get to steal kisses from my sweet nephew on a daily basis, and everday this week we have tried to have a photo session where I still sweet baby coos and smiles and precious mommnets like these, This is what we have so far for this week, dont you just want to eat him up!

Adventure to St. Marys....

Well we had an interesting day on THursday, we had a small PTL scare, but everything is ok now!:) Woke up Thursday morning with a sharp pain in my side and I was getting ready to go to work. I had a doctors appt that day at 2, so I was going to try and wait it out. However that did not work, the pain got a little worse and Lonnie was already at work, so I called my mom, my dad and her came and got me and took  me to the office! It was a good thing that I went in because I was 1 cm dilated and my BP was high! Being dialted was a big change for me because up until that point my cervix was still closed. So she sent me over to L&D to get monitored. I was having contractions 4-6mins apart. They gave me fluid to see if that would help it didnt, then they gave me IV's that didnt help so then they gave me a two different medications to try and stop them, it did not end up stopping them but it slowed them down! :) And let me tell you that medicine made me feel and talk like I had a cocktail or 2, 3, or 7, I had forgot what that feeling was like!! So thats good, she checked me before they let me leave and I had not dialted anymore. SO now I have to follow up with my doctor first of the week. Lets hope that I have not dialted anymore, these girls need to GROW a little while  longer!! 4 more weeks I am hoping we can make it to that point!!:)

Nursery is FINISHED!

The Nursery is officially done, we added the finishing touches of it today! Kevin (brother n law) built us a book shelf to put in the nursery for all the wonderful books and 10X11 boxes that hold all their wonderful stuff. There is 6 boxes and each one contains something different, bibs, hats, shoes, toys, misc. items. I have taken a few pictures to show everyone the room and how it is finished.

I am so happy that the Nursery is finished! Now all I need is two precious little monkeys to go in it!:)

Zebra

Keagan came over today and we got to play a little in the girls room again. He likes it when we do that. Today I wanted to do a photo session but he did not so much want to do that, but I did get this one little snazy picture that I must share with you all. Ok so everyone knows that I have an obssesion with Monkeys well my other obssesion is zebra print. At fame that is pretty much our "THEME" and all the girls always where zebra print stuff and we get alot of different zebra prints. Well for my fame baby shower, Megan Farmer one of my Fame J5ers, gave me a Zebra Outfit for the girls well I decided to dress Keagan up in it and take his picture...Adorable!

OB Check up!

Alrighty so I had my 32 week check up yesterday and my BP was good! YAY! Swelling is still absolutley HORRID! I really never thought that my feet could get this size or even look like this, but Its all for the girls! I used to like my feet, I mean I have a tatoo on my foot because I like them, but not so much right now. They look like hippos, along with my kankles that officaially have two fat roles on them. That little bone we all have on the side of our foot, yes mine just blends in with my legs now. Anyways ok, enough about me rambaling on about my feet! This is my first official week of not working at the gym and cutting back to 4 days a week a my full time job. I miss my lil cheerleaders already! I went in yesterday and Dr. Royal's first thing said to me was that I am measuring at full term!! So my body "thinks" I am ready to deliver even though I am only 32 weeks. SO she did a little test Fiber Nectine(its a predictor of about two weeks to see if I will go into labor in the next two weeks, luckily that came back negative. She checked my cervix and its closed but starting to be a little short, its 2.8 anything below 2.5 is BED rest! The two go hand in hand together so the chances of m going into labor in the next 2 weeks is at 2%. At first she was going to put me on Bed rest but then she decided since I have cut back some this week she was going to see how I was doing next week and then decide, so YAY I can still work some! I go back to see her next THursday. I never get ultra sounds at my OB usually just the high risk doc, but yesterday they did since they had to measure my cervix anywho they took the cutest picture, side by side of my lil ones!

We decided to make our extra spare room into a play room and that is where we will store all the 1,689,023 items that the girls have already. There is just a bed in their and then our desk and files and what not. Well lonnies task for sunday was to make the attic bigger by laying boards down so we could store the extra bed and stuff that is in that room in the attic. So I  am downstairs working on my sisters DVD of her life that I made her for her birthday on sunday and lonnie was all the way up in the attic.

Background noise: Bang, Crash, Boom, Boom

Mandy: "Honey, are you ok, what is going on up there?

Lonnie:" Yea I am fine...

10 minutes go bye...

Lonnie:" Hey baby can you come up here...

I knew something had to be wrong bc he knows how hard it is for me these days to get up and up the stairs and what not...thoughts?

His leg came through the celling into our bedroom and made a huge mess! Thank goodness he was ok. It was funny after it was all cleaned up. So patrick and Lonnie spent the afternoon patching it up! Thanks to patrick for helping out!! It still is not all the way fixedd but atleast its not a huge hole anymore. Then we went to my moms house that night for my sisters 26th Birthday!! Mom made lots of good food and I brought over a cake from Coldstone! It was good but never again those cakes are expensive!! I gave her the DVD I made of her and Kevin dating, engament, wedding and then Keagans first 6 weeks of life! SHe got a lil teary eyed but loved it! It was a great gift, I have to say I was proud of myself!

Papa sat on the couch with Keagan and sang him silly songs that made him laugh!
