One Four weeks              6.14                6.14
We are working on sleeping at night and not during  the day so we have our days and nights mixedup a little bit! WE have our start of a schedule, we try and eat every 2.5-3 hours during  the day, unless they get hungary earlier. But my one main rule is if one baby eats the other baby eats, I always tandum feed  no matter what. 45 mins before they eat I lay them on a blanket and wake them up so they start to learn that its day time and not night time. There is never a dull mommnt b the time I am done with waking up, feeding, chaging and pumping its almst time to do it again. The little faces that they make at you melts your heart, even the smiles that the are doing because they are dreaming or they have gas, still are the sweetest things you have ever seen. When they stretch and make an O face I could just melt. They stare at the celling lights, like its the most amazing thing they have ever seeen. Just starring at them while they sleep or while they are awake is just simply FAB.

Bonding: Bonding with my two girls was from the first instant that I saw them ( well I dont remember much after my c-section because of so many drugs and pain meds, but that momment I looked into both their eyes will stay with me forever!) There is nothing like carrying a baby or TWO in my case of 36 weeks and 5 days and wondering what all their features were going to look like and then seeing them for the first time. I mean how can you resist these two sweet faces...

Status: I am doing much better as far as physically from having a major surgery, but I would not say up to par just yet. My stomach is still hard and distended so I think it looks like I am still preggers, hopefully it will go down soon! Please some one with TWINS tell me it does go down from my uterus being stretch with TWO! I would not say I am up to par yet. I was starting to go a little stir crazy, so I went out for the first time this past saturday with my sister, first time just to go out and do what I wanted in two months, One month of bed rest and then my girls are one month old, it was also the first time I left them! But Grand-mere wellman watched them for me:) Anyways, No one would look and say "Wow you look great,,without following it with ...for having twins...," But on a good note I no longer get up like I am  an 100 year old lady, but it still does take some effort to go form a laying to sitting position. As my abs were completley destroyed and spereated and stretched out who knows if I will eer get those back. I no longer sob uncontrollably just because...well for any reason really. I think have gained my physical and emotional stability which helps with all this chaos and stress!

Pumping and feeding: Pumping requires full dedication on a daily basis of every 2-3 hours a day and that is 24/7 not just day time. Supply on demand, my body will hopefully keep producing even more each time as my girls start to eat more!! As a result of the girls not gaining enough weight in the begininng I am pumping and btl feeding, I will put them on BF from time to time, but for the most part they get btls so I can see how much they are getting and making sure my princesses are fattening right on up! Feeding is the same dedication but its on the girls schedule not mine. I feed them every 2.5 - 3 hours or as they appear hungary, so if its every two hours then that it is what it is, and thats from the start time not the ending time of each feeding!  I think ZOey is going to be my little eater, she always tends to finish her btls faster than miss lillianah!

Sleep deprivation: I have recently read in a magazine that once you become a mother you never sleep as soudly as you did before you had children, and yes I am a FIRM believer of this statment! I jolt the momment I hear the smallest peep come out of one of the girls! The first few weeks I would nod of and be sleepy when waking to feed them or just sooth them but now its like One of them are awake and my body just adjusts to it and I am wide awake, which is very helpful I rather be wide awake in the middle of the night if they are awake then sleepy, it makes feedding, and changing alot easier! Lonnie helps as much as he can with all the night feedings. I think that Men dont suffer from this chronic inhability to return to deep sleep after having a baby or in our case TWO!:) But everyone told me you just do it and as I am learning VERY quickly you just do!

MOre updates hopefully coming sooooon!
